Scottish schools cut fruit drinks, smoothies, and sugary cereals from school meals

Smoothies, fruit juices, and sugary cereals may all be banned from school meals in Scotland as part of new changes that are being implemented. Under the new plans, all school lunches will offer two portions of vegetables and one portion of fruit in an attempt to combat the country’s child obesity problem.
